My husband and I met just before my Quinceañera.  He would be my handsome usher.  The day we met, my heart was light and full of the excitement of youth, and as if written in the stars,  in a single moment, the world faded.  The voices and images around us blurred, and all that remained was the quiet certainty that our souls had just recognized each other.  He walked toward me, hesitantly but sure of his every step, when he shook my hand to greet me time truly began.

Our journey has not been without hardship.  We have built our life with steady hands and determined hearts, facing challenges that have tested our strength but never our devotion.  We’ve worked tirelessly—building careers, nurturing dreams, and creating a home that was not just filled with warmth, but woven with love.

We’ve grown together, not just as partners but as individuals.  Our love has evolved, expanded and flourished.

After 30 years of love, trials and triumphs, of whispered dreams and unwavering faith, we chose to celebrate our 30th anniversary in a way that would honor our journey.  We renewed our vows here at Luna Escondida, marking it as a place of light, of hope and of love.  A place where countless other love stories will begin, just as ours did.

Luna is not just a venue, it is a blessing.  It is our love made tangible, a tribute to the beauty of marriage and to all the couples who will stand beneath its archways, making the same promises that we made all those years ago.  
Our story is still unfolding, still growing, still as breathtaking as the very first night we met.  

And with every wedding that will follow in Luna’s embrace, our love will live on, not just in our own hearts, but in the hearts of all those who believe in love as deeply as we do.

In search of comfort and privacy, guided by the warmth of childhood memories, the owners of Luna Escondida found in San Miguel de Allende the perfect mixture of tradition and a passion rooted in Mexican culture.

Initially divided into separate parcels, it was once an arid, nearly barren land.  Yet it held an indescribable and unexplainable magnetism that inspired a vision for the future.  Guided by a sense of déjà vu upon first stepping onto the grounds, the owners acquired the property, thus the seeds for Luna Escondida were sown.

A blank canvas that grew and revived itself.  Luna guided and continues to guide the way.  

Two

Through a meticulous process of restoration and care, just as the phases of the moon reveal new landscape with each passing day, Luna began to flourish. Undergoing it’s own transformation with every stone placed,  every tree planted and every seed sown, a rejuvenated terrain came bursting to life.

Beginning with the main house, the owner’s carved out a home to suit their family’s evolving needs. This home would become the evergreen backdrop of a life full of laughter, shared family memories, and a welcome escape for close friends. This was followed by the creation of a sanctuary for their beloved horses: the grand stables. Lush landscape design was dreamed up and brought to life by the many hard-working hands of the property’s faithful local stewards.

Through these dreams and visions, each villa on the property was carefully remodeled and meticulously curated, finally creating a whole and harmonious estate that would in time welcome many future guests.

Three

The unique essence and undeniable soul of the estate, yearned to be shared with the world. Luna had truly become the place where strong community ties flourished and celebrations abounded, weddings became the natural evolution. After much reflection, the owners opened the doors of their loving and blessed home with a uniquely momentous occasion: their 30 year wedding anniversary and a renewal of their vows. Thus marking the birth of Luna Escondida as an exclusive wedding venue.
